A pre-pour (steel) inspection is carried out once all reinforcing steel work has been completed and before the concrete slab is poured. This inspection typically takes place the afternoon prior to the scheduled pour however, in some cases it may occur on the morning of the pour.
This stage is critical, as the steel reinforcement forms the first structural element of your home’s foundation.
During the pre-pour inspection, we verify that all formwork and steel reinforcement have been installed exactly as specified in the site and engineering plans.
And that the termite system part A has been installed and is compliant.
If the job has retaining walls and they have been completed at this time. We will visibly check as part of the inspection.
