Waterproofing Inspection

Waterproofing Inspection

A must if building a double storey home, we inspect all wet areas and balconies.

This inspection is carried out after the builder has completed the waterproofing of the wet areas within your home. Given that incorrectly installed waterproofing systems remains one of the most problematic issues that home owners face, and the subsequent leaking showers and wet areas, an ever-increasing number of our clients now want this inspection carried out to ensure that their wet areas have been properly waterproofed.

The waterproofing inspection is usually carried out at the same time as the fix inspection.
This inspection is conducted after the builder has completed the waterproofing to all wet areas of the home. Incorrectly installed waterproofing systems remain one of the most common and costly issues faced by home owners after handover, often resulting in leaks to showers, balconies, and other wet areas. Due to the serious consequences of poor waterproofing and poor building practices, this inspection is essential to confirm that all wet areas have been correctly and compliantly waterproofed.
