Frame Inspection

Frame Inspection

These two inspections are carried out at the same time. The slab and frame inspection are a comprehensive and detailed assessment of all post-pour slab components as well as the home’s structural frame. During this inspection, we thoroughly examine the framing to confirm it is structurally sound and built to required standards.

This stage is critically important. Together with the slab, the frame forms the structural “skeleton” of your home. Any flaws in either component can lead to significant defects throughout the rest of the building.

Utilising the NCC and AS 2870, AS 1684 and AS 4440 we check items such as-

Frame

  • Bracing components
  • Wall straightening (plumb)

  • Frame overhang

  • Bulkheads
  • Flooring laid correctly
